Hi! I'm Jesslyn
A mental health coach for women who live with bipolar disorder, author, advocate, speaker, and singer.
I help women who live with bipolar disorder overcome hopelessness by sharing our lived experiences, resources, and incorporating God’s Word in order to live a more fulfilling life–no woman fights alone.

“Sometimes God will put a Goliath in your life, for you to find the David within you.”
FIGHTING GOLIATH IS A TRUE STORY THAT OFFERS A LIVED EXPERIENCE PERSPECTIVE ON WHAT IT IS LIKE TO NAVIGATE LIFE WITH BIPOLAR 1 DISORDER–AN ILLNESS OFTEN MISUNDERSTOOD. THE JOURNEY COMBINES GUT-WRENCHING AND HEARTBREAKING PERSONAL STORIES, GIVING YOU A GLIMPSE INTO THE REALITY OF LIVING WITH A SEVERE, CHRONIC ILLNESS THAT HAS NO CURE.
MORE THAN JUST A MEMOIR, THIS BOOK PROVIDES PRACTICAL ADVISE AND SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE. IT IS FOR ANYONE–INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH MENTAL ILLNESS, FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES, MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, ADVOCATES, AND THOSE WITHIN OUR BEYOND THE FAITH COMMUNITY.
FIGHTING GOLIATH HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF ADDRESSING BIPOLAR DISORDER FROM BOTH MEDICAL AND SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVES, WORKING TOGETHER TO MOVE FROM THE HELPLESSNESS TO HOPE. YOU WILL GAIN INSIGHT INTO THE POWER OF STIGMA, THE SIGNIFICANCE OF USING THE RIGHT LANGUAGE, AND THE NECESSITY OF FINDING A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY.
DO YOU BELIEVE VICTORY IS POSSIBLE WHILE LIVING WITH A SEVERE MENTAL ILLNESS? DO YOU BELIEVE YOUR GIANT CAN FALL?
HOLD ON TIGHT FOR A ROLLER COASTER OF HIGHS AND LOWS–BY THE END, YOU WILL WITNESS A VICTORY THAT ONLY THE PROVIDER CAN GIVE. YOUR GIANT MAY BE BIG, BUT IT IS NOT BIGGER THAN GOD.
